Live stream in multiple languages in 2023 (feat. Alvaro Montoya)

In this episode, we speak with Alvaro Montoya about some easy-to-implement solutions global organizations, LSPs, and virtual platforms can use to live stream in multiple languages with remote interpretation. We will be covering two different solutions:

About Alvaro Montoya Alvaro is a Telecom Engineer from Barcelona (Spain) with an MBA from Tsinghua University (Beijing). He is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and Chinese. During the last 11 years, he has been living in China working in multinational companies such as Microsoft. In 2018, during his MBA studies, he built a prototype called "Akkadu" (at that time it was a multilingual AI subtitles software to help students understand content in their own language) and participated in a startup competition sponsored by Facebook where he got the second prize. That was the beginning of Akkadu. Alvaro loves playing the piano, playing chess, watching anime, and his favorite quote is "别守株待兔，主动!" which means "don't wait for things to happen, make them happen!"
